p90x is an intensive program to begin, some people find they need more strength to continue. For each strength training exercises such as weight training, muscles are broken down by repeatedly forcing them to lift heavy weights. Then, when the body repairs damaged muscles, but places them in a larger and stronger, so the next time the muscle will be damaged. While it's great for Caveman lifting stones and killing saber-toothed tigers, it leads to a frustrating plateau in the power of modern man.

It is best to train your whole body at once. There is no need to focus on specific parts in the beginning. It's also a good idea to start with exercises before working out. Consider it a prelude to your primary target. The last thing you need to know is that building muscle takes time.
